Spirit wanderers and lone wolf characters has always been drawn to creativity as a spiritual path.

Just look at the examples William Blake, Simone Weil, Carl Jung, Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman. All these people were engaged in the creative expression of the soul.

I am sure that if you are reading this right now, you are an artist, “spiritual”, innovator or creator. It could be a strong part of your personality, or it could be a deeper calling in life.

Whether you see yourself in that light or not, soul-based creativity is rewarding. any and all stages a spiritual journey about waking up.

Here’s why. Putting your soul into creating something will help you…

Emotion is the soul-directed path of creative self-expression that helps us in the last two stages of the spiritual journey. rebirth and integration.

If you have done a lot of healing inner work and are now wondering “What’s next?” this the next thing.

All the greatest wisdom teachers over the centuries have found some form of Soul-directed creativity to bring this planet back.

Just look at Lao Tzu and his eternity Tao Te Ching, Buddha and his eight ways and Mother Teresa and he Missionaries of Charity public

I can name Helena Blavatsky and many others like her Theosophical Society, The writings and music of the mystic Hildegard of Bingen, Jesus and his gospel, and more.

The main thing here is to understand it includes creativity many shapes and forms.

You don’t need to start painting huge masterpieces if your soul doesn’t resonate with them. You don’t have to do anything traditionally “artistic” if that’s not your nature.

Look at nature, the symbol of creativity. This infinite different. The point is, if you are a cactus, don’t try to be a flower. If you are a snowflake, don’t try to be a stone.

Find which shape your The soul wants to get in this world.

How to practice soul-based creativity

There are many long ramblings I could take, but I want to be direct and clear. The main ingredients are:

  1. Openness to try new ways
  2. Intelligence to configure and listen to external input your inner voice
  3. Courage “failing” (aka. having uncomfortable but necessary learning experiences) and public exposure
  4. Humility change course or direction as needed
  5. Obligation dedicating daily time to your creative path (yes, every day)
  6. Self awareness knowing what to say, do or express; to have to see
  7. Yin Yang balance mind and heart work together towards one goal
