In Episode 475, astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best discuss what each Venus retrograde in Aries has corresponded to in history over the past century, identifying recurring patterns from the past 8 years that relate to the present and the future.
The premise of this episode is that we have Venus retrograde in Aries and Pisces in the next few months, and that seems to be a really important part of the year in March and April when we’re looking forward to major world events, so I wanted to look back in history and better understand what these retrogrades in Aries have corresponded to in the past.
What Nick and I did in this episode is we started in 2025 and talked a little bit about what was already known or was clearly developing about the current Venus retrograde, and then we jumped back 8 years to 2017, the last time Venus went retrograde in Aries, and talked about the major events that happened during that time.
Then we go back 8 years to 2009, when Venus is retrograde again in Aries, and so on. During the episode, we continued this until 1905, when Venus retrogrades Aries for the first time in this cycle.

Going back in time, we kind of pushed ourselves back and started with a more familiar era, but then we showed that there were these weird 8-year iterations that connected events and themes in these different time periods.
We found a lot of interesting things and some important correlations that are very relevant for today’s news.
I think this episode really helps to solidify and expand on the Venus retrograde research we’ve done in 2023 and deepen our understanding of Venus retrogrades in general by going deeper into this series.
More importantly, it will help shed light on some of the events that will take place in March and April 2025 and further contextualize them.
