In episode 330, astrologer Ray Grasse joins the podcast to reflect on some of the lessons he’s learned after a lifetime of astrology.
Ray is a long-time editor and columnist for The Mountain Astrologer, and has published two books of essays he has written over the years on the practice and philosophy of astrology.
The first book is named Under the Sacred Sky: Essays on the Practice and Philosophy of Astrology (2015), and the latter Star Gates: Essays on Astrology, Symbolism, and the Synchronic Universe (2020).
During the interview, we discuss various topics from some of his essays, including synchronicity and mechanism of astrology, symbolism and omenology, physical characteristics of planets that reflect their astrological meaning, importance of stationary planets, the highest planet in the chart, and more.
