The Seven of Wands and the Emperor
This week we have a Gemini New Moon, which is a great opportunity to take a breather and start a new lunar cycle. New moons bring hope and new beginnings, and the cards show us where to direct our energies. The cards keep calling us to lead, and I think it’s time to listen.
Our first card is the Seven of Wands. This card focuses on courage. It’s about feeling your fears and doing it anyway. It challenges us to recognize our limitations and overcome them anyway.
Stepping out of our comfort zone and being brave is a scary thing. But it helps us identify our fears and look at them closely. Ask yourself: what are you afraid of? What’s holding you back? How can you both recognize fear and still move forward?
The Seven of Wands doesn’t want fear to hold us back. It reminds us that when we don’t feel fear, we don’t need courage. We have worked on our personal dreams and it is time to have the courage to act.
We can put our feet on the ground and take more steps towards our goals. All abilities and strengths are within us. We are here to step into our strength and purpose.
Our second card this week is the Emperor, which highlights themes of leadership, relationships and integrity. This emphasizes the importance of embodying strength and confidence in leading others.
The emperor is a kind of leader. He does not lead through fear, manipulation or control. Instead, he leads by example, knowing that his actions are consistent with his values. He believes in his abilities and does not bend his ego. Others see his quiet leadership and are drawn to his energy.
He also brings out the best in those around him by encouraging him to be a leader. He always lifts others up and never brings anyone down. By building relationships, he earns respect and loyalty. People follow it because it serves them well and improves their lives.
Under the influence of the Emperor card, we ask ourselves: what qualities do I respect in others? Do I have these qualities? How can I become the leader I am meant to be?
We must lead ourselves. We open a new way of being: kindness, compassion and creativity. But do not be afraid of this power. We must take the lead and step forward.
This week’s mantra: I will boldly step into the future, I will follow my passion.
