In astrology, Neptune usually represents illusions, mysticism, escapism, spiritualism, confusion, romanticism, blurring of boundaries, hypersensitivity, compassion, and transcendent experiences.
Neptune is one of the more recently discovered outer planets, having been discovered only in 1846, although astrologers understood its meaning very well after almost two centuries of working with it.
This is part of a series of episodes where we delve deeper into the meaning of each planet in astrology, reading some passages to see how different astrologers have talked about the planet in the past, and then using that as a jumping off point for discussion.
