The month opens with one of the most favorable planetary alignments of the year: the Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer remains active for the first two weeks. Venus-Jupiter conjunctions are great for relationships, marriages and partnerships, as well as peacekeeping efforts and affirmations of good things.
Mid-month sees a definite change in tone as Venus enters Leo and begins to oppose Pluto. This aspect can cause issues of power, manipulation and control in the context of cooperation and relationships. Meanwhile, Mercury enters its shadow period, slowing down and preparing for a retrograde station, while Mars moves through a 10-degree orb of volatile conjunction with Uranus.
The last part of the month takes an unexpected and explosive turn, especially when Mars officially enters Gemini and the connection with Uranus increases. On the last day of the month, Jupiter enters Leo and begins a one-year transit through this sign. However, this transit begins with an opposition to Pluto, which ends in July, highlighting themes related to the manipulation of reality and attempts to control knowledge.
At the same time, Mercury stations retrograde before conjunct Jupiter, effectively canceling and delaying a beneficial alignment as a more malefic Mars-Uranus configuration takes shape.
