Intuitive Horoscope May 2026

May 2026 offers many opportunities for us to stop and smell the roses. With so much fiery energy simmering throughout April, May gives us a chance to slow down and be more intentional about how we want to move forward.

The month of May begins and ends with a full moon, and the second is a rare Blue Moon. Having two full moons in one calendar month shows the theme of release, letting go and culmination, May seems like a chapter ending for us and we wrap up our losses and make room for new ones to come.

In addition to the rare Blue Moon, May also discovered a number of powerful stargate portals, including the Algol Portal, Pleiades Portal, and Silver Gate Portal. All of these star portals have high frequency energy that helps us connect with our inner divinity and spirit guides. The Silvergate Portal is a particularly powerful time to remember parts of your soul contract and review the lessons of the journey thus far.

In general, May offers some grounding influences to help nurture our mind, body, and spirit. What we put our energy into this month is encouraged to focus on what we want more than what we don’t want.

Pluto stations retrograde, giving us the first retrograde planet we’ve had in a while. Algol represents the power we receive after passing through the cycle of death and rebirth. Algol is closely related to the legend of Medusa. Medusa began as an Oracle goddess, but was transformed into a snake-headed gorgon. However, through this metamorphosis, he only became stronger. The Alycone Gateway is activated by the Sun’s alignment with the star Alycone, one of the main stars of the Pleiades. Kingfisher Can be described as a feminine version of Sirius. If Sirius is our Spiritual Sun, then Alicone can be our Shadow Sun – the Sun that shines a light on all the deeper, darker things we must go through in order to reach new levels of spiritual consciousness. These shadows are our fears and suppressed emotions. These shadows are also feelings of shame we may have around ourselves and our lives. The Pleiades are also strongly connected to the Spirit World and can help us connect with loved ones who have passed on.

The Sun moves out of stable, grounded Taurus and into the social and fast sign of Gemini! Gemini is an air sign, meaning that energy flows from our lower chakras to our higher chakras, fueling our creativity, self-expression, and desire to share. Gemini season is a great time to focus on communication and working with our hands. It is also time for strength to recognize both aspects of our existence. We are souls, but we are also physical bodies. This is the nature of Gemini Gemini. One twin is mortal and the other is immortal, representing our temporal body and our eternal soul. May 29-31: Aldebaran Gateway/Silvergate

When the Sun aligns with Aldebaran, the Royal Star, it activates a high frequency energy portal. Some astrologers call it that Silver Gate Portal. This portal illuminates energy that sharpens our minds, deepens our intuition, and increases our wisdom. Aldebaran is also a resting place for souls before rebirth on earth. In this resting place, the Soul has the opportunity to reflect on why it comes to Earth and the lessons it learns. We can do this by connecting to our Higher Self and soul and remembering that every experience is a lesson.

May 31: Sagittarius Full Moon

Once in a blue moon with the Sagittarius full moon happening today! A blue moon occurs when a calendar month has two full moons. This is a rare occurrence, occurring approximately every 18 months. The Sagittarius Moon Moon creates a strong theme of release throughout the month, and we may be closing in on a chapter of our lives that we’ve worked hard to bring to an end. The Sagittarius full moon also directs us to seek adventure. We can push ourselves to make a bold decision, seek out new experiences, or see a project through to completion.
