In episode 265, astrologers Kelly Surtees, Austin Coppock, and Chris Brennan look at August 2020 horoscopes, as well as Walter Mercado’s birth chart.
August’s horoscope features Mars moving into its shadow and the first of three sets of squares to Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn, as well as the full moon of Uranus in Aquarius and Mercury and Venus exiting their long journeys through Cancer and Gemini.
We’ll start the August forecast at the beginning of the episode, then in the second half we’ll discuss the latest documentary on Netflix about popular astrologer Walter Mercado. So much loveand specifically the question of what is the correct birth chart and rising sign for Mercado.
The problem with Walter Mercado’s birth time is that his date of birth is usually listed as March 9, 1932. According to AstroDatabank taken by astrologer Eduardo Castellanos birth record It says that Mercado was actually born on April 25, 1931 at 6:00 a.m. in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Even the April 25 birth time is rounded and the Ascendant is near the cusp between Aries and Taurus, so we’ll spend some time discussing whether Walter Mercado is an Aries or Taurus Ascendant.
