The sunGemini at 9° |MoonSagittarius at 9°
Meet Artemis. She is a Greek goddess associated with wild animals. She is considered the protector and hunter of wildlife and is one of the virgin goddesses. In Greek mythology, the idea of a “virgin goddess” simply means that a goddess belongs to no one and answers to no one. He is completely independent and works on his own schedule.
Although Artemis was known for hunting, she did so as a sacred honor. It was almost like a spiritual communication between him and the wildlife.
I see the energy of Artemis reflected in the chart for the Full Moon in Sagittarius. The most obvious connection is this The Moon is in Sagittarius, the sign of the archer. Artemis is known as one of the most skilled archers in Greek mythology.
Let’s unpack how Artemis manifests in other parts of today’s chart and what it means for us.

A wild, independent and adventurous spirit
In the full moon chart in Sagittarius we find The Sun is in playful, energetic and curious Geminibinder sparky, electric Uranus. with The moon is adventurous, in a wide arcthis combination can make us feel a bit playful, open and expressive.
This could be a great full moon if you want to share something you’ve been working on. But it can also be convenient for new opportunities, creative ideas, or just relaxation.
Uranus is the planet of independence and self-expression. If there is an aspect of Artemis that resonates with you this full moon, you might want to ask yourself the following questions:
What does authenticity mean to me?
Can I express myself authentically in important places and with people?
Can I find a healthy balance between being authentic and considerate of others?

Artemis and her relationship with sovereignty
In this full moon chart, Venus will travel through Cancer and come close to conjunct Jupiter, which will be exact on June 9th. In the coming weeks, this conjunction may indicate auspicious energy around relationships, connections, and creativity.
But on the full moon itself, Venus also forms a square to Saturn in Aries. This can manifest as a greater understanding of “who we let in.” This can actually be a beneficial energy relative to the rest of the chart. With other placements (such as Jupiter’s “yes-personality” and the open-door policy Gemini and Sagittarius can sometimes have), the Venus-Saturn connection can offer a healthy sense of reserve around new people and relationships.
This is very much a topic related to Artemis. He was not known for his romantic relationships, and he kept a certain guard to keep his personal space sacred.
If this aspect of Artemis resonates with you, you might consider:
How open am I to making new connections?
Where is this openness (or lack of openness) useful? And where does that stop me?
What parts of myself do I keep sacred and share with only a small number of people—or no one at all?
Concluding thoughts
This Full Moon in Sagittarius chart leans more towards the fun, expressive and adventurous side of things. I sometimes call it “caffeine energy,” especially when Uranus is involved.
But there are other things in the chart that offer good balance, such as the Venus-Saturn connection and even Mars moving through slow, methodical Taurus.
Take some time to consider the questions above, and give yourself space to play, create, and enjoy the “full bloom” of this full moon.
