From what I’ve gathered so far, we don’t seem to have been hit. There are several pages and it seems to be an error. (link to some information)
We don’t know yet when the bug will be fixed. Some people have reported that their pages are back within 48-72 hours. The last time this happened to us, it was resolved within 5 hours… I’ll post an update once we know more.
Regarding my previous article … Ray asked me to publish it until the bug is fixed. We don’t want to give them any reason not to fix it…
We are currently working on a tool to stop relying on Facebook. If anyone remembers my previous article, I talked about centralization and said I would talk more about it later. Well, now seems like the perfect time to do it!
This Facebook debacle made one thing very clear… If we (this community) truly want to “make the world a better place”, big changes will be the result of our actions. However, there are many who do not like the changes. That being said, if someone wants to attack a large community/group of people, communication will be one of the first things they want to disrupt. Nowadays, there is no way to connect with many people without Facebook.
Still seeing the flaw? Centralization is the act or process of consolidating activities into one place. Everything hinges on one thing, and if said thing fails, the whole thing collapses.
Light is strongest when focused. Without communication, there is no focus. This is the difference between a prism and a magnifying glass. Although light can pass through both, what happens next is very different!
After all, the world is the way it is because we let it be. Donald Trump lost the popular vote and still became President of the United States. I’m not saying we like him or dislike him, I’m asking, do our voices really matter, and if they don’t, why haven’t we done anything about it? Did you know that there is already a city that exists and functions without money religion or government? (check it out here)
I really wonder if we (humanity, you and I) can unite. A lot of “spiritual” people talk about “uniting the masses” but I have heard that most of my life and I have yet to see many people actually unite. Are you as curious as I am? If so, would you like to satisfy that interest? Consider this a simple call to action, share this post!
Government… Hmmm, let’s take a closer look at that word…
Control is to limit or control.
Ment is the act or process of doing something.
