In ancient astrology, an eclipse was considered a sign of the death or destruction of famous people. In this episode, I want to look at some examples from recent history and current news that demonstrate the validity of this ancient observation to this day.
I wrote this on February 19, 2026, when the big news broke that Prince Andrew had just been arrested in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein files, just two days after the Aquarius eclipse.
We dive into what we describe as “eclipse season,” a roughly month-long period that begins about a week before the first eclipse and ends a week after the second. During this time, it is very common to see famous or political figures suffer some sort of public demise.
We look at several recent examples in 2019, from the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein, to the collapse of Sam Bankman-Fried’s crypto company FTX, to the home invasion of Sean “Diddy” Combs. We’ll also look at how it relates to important historical events, including the deaths of Princess Diana and Pope John Paul I, as well as the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
But as we have discussed, the collapse is not always permanent. Since an eclipse is a conjunction, it represents the closing of a cycle as well as the laying of seeds or foundations for something entirely new to grow.
Since our current eclipse season is not yet over, I encourage you to focus on new beginnings taking root in your life, even if they are not yet significant.
