In episode 348, astrologer Demetra George discusses her new book, Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice, Volume Two.
This is the second of two volumes that take a comprehensive look at the practical uses of Hellenistic astrology, completing a cycle begun in 1993 when Demetra became the first subscriber to Project Hindsight’s translation project.
In volume two, Demetra takes a closer look at the houses and their role in interpreting birth charts, focusing on examining the meaning of houses throughout history and looking for common themes that run through 2,000 years of tradition.
In our conversation we focused on talking about the meanings of houses and how some meanings have changed and others have remained the same throughout the traditions.
