In our long history of UFO sightings, there is a very common and consistent assumption: that the unidentified objects that some of us see in the night sky are vehicles or crafts with us inside. indeed interested – aliens. But what if that assumption is wrong? What if the craft or vehicle itself is something alien? What does this discovery mean?
UFOs are like a mirror to human nature
The world’s long history of UFO sightings, in general, can often serve as a reflection pool for us. unconscious beliefs and assumptions. The term “flying saucer” has been around since the late 1940s, when a private pilot named Kevin Arnold reported seeing something matching the description over Mount Rainier in Washington state. The nickname stuck because it seems to accurately describe what many people have described seeing in the night sky ever since. UFO sightings often include a disc-shaped object in the sky, sometimes with lights or doors or other equipment that suggests the object opens for entry and exit. But from what or from whom?
UFO lore is full of stories of mysterious and elusive beings inside these disc-shaped craft. They are usually depicted as small gray creatures with two eyes, one nose, one mouth, two arms, and two legs that look suspiciously like humans, as Neil deGrasse Tyson points out in his recent book on the subject. Take me to you Leader. Why do beings in the far reaches of our universe or in other universes have so much in common with us, intelligent beings on planet Earth? I’ve always found the “little green people” cliché imaginatively bankrupt, and I’m glad to find that I’m on good terms with Tyson in that regard.
Imagining foreigners differently
In recent years, in particular, “aliens” have appeared, which are insect-like in nature (which is somewhat consistent with our familiar evolution on earth) or more like an octopus (as in the movie). Coming) or even as cloud formations, as suggested in the more innovative Alien film, No (although it’s not clear if it’s a cloud, maybe on purpose is considered an alien creature, an alien craft, or simply an intelligent veil behind which an alien creature or craft is hidden). This is one of my favorite movies Solaris –An English remake starring George Clooney from the original Russian (Soviet) film released decades ago — because it features an entire planet, Solaris, that is conscious and can remotely influence human thought and behavior. Now this innovative.
Our search for extraterrestrials intelligence it must be admitted that he was very humane. For example, SETI (SETI = search for extraterrestrial intelligence) has long been in the habit of sending radio signals and various media (such as television programs) into space, hoping for what? Want to make an alien laugh in our clever 1980s sitcom? I’ve always wondered if aliens even register human-made radio waves. Or recognize our math. Or has the ability to see, hear and touch. Why do we assume these things? We don’t know what aliens are like, if they exist at all. And maybe our man imagination they can’t even imagine what it might be like.
Could UFO crafters be aliens?
Why not? I think it’s interesting that what we see in the sky and recognize as “unknown” is perceived as a vehicle rather than the entity itself. How do we know?
Some more far-fetched hypotheses suggest that these crafts are some kind of manifestation of our future selves (humans) visiting the present reality. Another possibility I like to think about is if we’re living in a computer-simulated reality (à la Rizwan Virk’s Simulation hypothesis and A simulated multiverse), perhaps these are programs that briefly materialize (seem to take physical form) as UFOs begin as an idea and enter our “reality” like a 3D-printed object that takes shape as a “print”.
But if there is a craft is considered existence, then where do we get all the ideas and images of the so-called “little green people”? I think this suggests that perhaps the most reliable accounts of UFOs, coming from highly trained professionals such as military personnel and pilots, usually describe only a craft or vehicle. it’s not A small population inside the craft, as seen in the last scene of The third type of close encounters. Could it be that if the little creatures were imagined, a projection Human consciousness, which explains why their anatomy is not drastically different from that of humans? Is it that the craft, the objects themselves, are what we need to focus on rather than imagining that there is more inside? The craft is something that fascinates pilots and other trained professionals with its extreme speed, silence, and ability to slip in and out of our reality in the blink of an eye.
Rethinking the term “stranger”.
We can go further and redefine the term “alien”. “Alien” as a word has become synonymous with the green alien face we see everywhere in pop culture. But what if the alien refers not to the creature itself, but to a layer of space or even a dimension of time? Perhaps this craft is from an alien time period (future?) or alien space (another dimension?). I think that reexamining our assumptions about UFOs and extraterrestrials is a good starting point to begin “detecting” these unidentified flying objects.
