I wonder what transits might indicate a move. Connections with the 4th house? Saturn, the anchor? Uranus, sharp? Jupiter/9th, abroad? Or if you have other ideas…

Hi Maggie! You have the right idea. People act for a variety of reasons.
For example, suppose Neptune transits a person’s Venus. They take a leap of faith and move around the world, if only for something they can be deceived about. Or take people like me who left home at a young age. There may be pressure. A person may be walking away from a dead thing, which may belong to him! Man does not think that he can develop in the environment.
Sometimes people are forced to move. Unwanted divorces and other divorces create scenarios like this. Job loss is another reason,
In my experience, moving to the corners of the chart, aspecting the cardinal houses, is a reliable indicator of a person moving into a house. Note that I use Equal House. I cannot guarantee other home systems. The 4th house is the main one, but if the 10th house is active and there is a job change with the transfer, the transfer will still happen.
Slow-motion transits to the Moon can also see a human root fall, but it’s not as convincing as the Cardinal House I’ve seen. Feeling like moving and actually moving are two different things. In general, there are several indicators for a large movement.
I tried Saturn, Uranus and Pluto style. It’s easy to see how the primary goal in each case would be unique.
What transits were active when you last moved home?
