As Saturn moves forward in Aries, retrograde Cancer Mercury moves back to meet it square. Retro Mercury also returns with the Cancer Sun.
The Moon moves through Gemini until Sunday, then turns into Cancer as Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, transits over the Moon-ruled Sun. Are ships passing (almost) at night? Certainly well lit; but with Mercury-Saturn illuminated, there may be emotional damage or compromises or agreements that require repair.
The plan becomes the path. But when we walk this path, we may see conditions that we did not see the first time. Justice is in the game. Maybe things aren’t fair, and that’s how they should be. Maybe it’s all fair, but someone decides they don’t want to play this game anymore. Or the contract may be broken. In any case, emotions have a strong, active effect. Look for more than just your perspective. Even if it affects the person, at least you can judge outside of your own head. Obligations may need to be rewritten or reinterpreted.
If you feel insulted this weekend, take it seriously and check your assumptions against objective reality. Sometimes things go wrong and it’s no one’s fault. Sometimes it’s someone else’s fault and it needs to be fixed. The plan can be changed and restructured, possibly to your advantage, so don’t get caught up in an unnecessary struggle for control. Make it logical and make sure what makes sense works.
Mars in Gemini is direct and limitless, so now is the time to get up, get out, and get to work. Follow the problem and go with the air flow.

On Friday night, the Gemini Moon conjuncts Virgo Venus, Leo sextiles Jupiter, Uranus, then trines retro Pluto in Aquarius. It’s good if it’s full of energy and excitement! Intensity and innovation drive us. Alive and awake is an alert state. It is healthy to start and clean the mechanism. In fact, friction—both literally and figuratively—is associated with pleasure, even if it doesn’t start there. The end of the volcano may shed some light on the situation.
