In episode 259 of the podcast, astrologer Sam Reynolds joins the show to discuss the issue of racism in America and talk about some related topics that have come up in the astrology community over the past two weeks.
These discussions were sparked by the May 25, 2020, killing of George Floyd and protests across the United States.
In the first part of the show, we will discuss some of the major issues in the country regarding systemic racism and police brutality, and then we will move on to talk about some of the recent discussions and activism in the astrological community.
We’ll touch on the broader topics of what it’s like to be a black astrologer in America, Sam’s efforts to bring more diversity to the astrological community, and what can be done to help those efforts in the future.
Sam has held several relevant talks in the past year, including Astrological Destiny for African Americans for the New Voices in Astrology Summit and Talk Race, Justice, and America’s Pluto Return For the Association of Young Astrologers.
