Nikki’s Weekly Tarot Reading: June 1-7, 2026

The Ten of Wands and the Emperor

This week the cards invite us to reflect on aspects of our lives where we may feel overwhelmed or stretched. Let’s take a loving pause to nurture our souls and prevent burnout. This is a great opportunity to prioritize our well-being and show love to our body, mind and spirit. Let’s embrace this moment to take care of ourselves and rejuvenate.

The first card we will work with is the Ten of Wands. Through this card we feel all the burdens we have carried and the fatigue. The number ten shows us that we are at the end of a cycle and things will change soon.

The many wands of this card represent our thoughts, concerns and responsibilities. We built them little by little, but now they are too heavy to carry. Things may seem overwhelming and we long for change, but change is hard.

Our hope can fade because we don’t see the results of our efforts. Emotions that may arise are nervousness and frustration. But as we know we are at the end of the cycle, there is a new path on the horizon.

The Ten of Wands also shows a block in our communication. There are things we want to get off our chests that we find it difficult to say. Maybe we don’t know the right words to express our feelings.

How can we better express our needs this week? How can we ask for help when everything is so overwhelming? What steps can we take to achieve the desired result?

I recommend writing things down. Write down what you need to release and where you want to see changes. Doing this helps to release energy out of your body and into the universe where it can be processed and ultimately healed.

We are called to work on the crutches we carry and allow others to help us. Remember, we don’t have to accept everything at once. As a first step, share your burdens out loud (even to yourself), then go from there.

The Empress card inspires us to take care of ourselves fiercely and is a great partner to the Ten of Wands. He asks: What can we do to truly educate ourselves? How can we create more safety and security in our lives?

From a place of love and safety, we can truly flourish. We can take more risks and be more creative. We can live more fully. But without this foundation, we will only survive, not thrive.

Allow the energy of the emperor to consume you this week and take steps to love yourself more deeply. Know that there is unconditional love for you and that the universe accepts you just the way you are.

The Empress wants us to love ourselves like a young child. He asks us to treat ourselves with patience, kindness and care. He asks us to always be the right parents.

This kind of love is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. By doing this, we are creating a rich soil in which to flourish and flourish.

Only when we continue to love and show up for ourselves every day will real change happen. This card supports the consistency needed in our practice.

Empress inspires self-love. Look for opportunities to take care of yourself and have more security in your life. This is the time to make choices that lead to a brighter future.

Mantra for the week: We nurture what nourishes us aand let go of what feels too heavy.
