Gaslighting people for a living and what happens next

gas lampgas lamp“It’s like gaslighting—from the credit card people, the chemo scheduler (I went to Mexico), the car accident insurance adjuster……I can’t understand how people deal with themselves when they get home at night.”
– Another JJ is on Elsa and the Fortune 50 Corporate America Scam

Another JJ, I was thinking the same thing. For those who don’t know about it, there is such a thing as a professional gasliner. You call the helpline and you are directed to them. The job is to do everything but help you. They have to waste your time, ask you to repeat things, or spell things out. They say incredible things; some of them have sound effects that play. Long wait times, tickets to nowhere, etc

Their work makes you either give up or get angry; at which point you are described as “crazy”. They want you to conclude that there is no need to complain or ask for anything.

Some of them define you to the team. Good cop/bad cop. Yes/No. Once you get to a certain level it’s surreal. But I will tell you my future. It’s both better and worse.

These humans will be replaced by AI. Better yet, you no longer have to wonder how your human “peers” could do this to you. But it’s even worse because the car is COLD and it’s ultimate. Siberia, okay?

Life is not what it used to be, but really, we should be very surprised. Psychology experiments throughout history have shown that a large percentage of people do indeed participate in similar things.

This percentage has done nothing but increase. The average employer is not looking for an ethical person. They are looking for something else. Look Psychopaths.
