Three Books of Agrippa’s Occult Philosophy


In episode 343, astrologer Eric Purdue joins the show to talk about his new translation Three Books of Occult Philosophy By Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa.

Agrippa published his book Three Books of Occult Philosophy Published in 1533, it is a collection of astrology, magic and philosophy.

After its publication, Agrippa’s work gained enormous influence and influence in the Western esoteric tradition, as an important Renaissance treatise on the occult.

It was last translated into English in 1551, and Eric’s translation was a number of scholarly and methodological improvements over the previous one.
