Nikki’s Weekly Tarot Reading: March 16-22, 2026

Two Swords and the Moon

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with Tanaaz, astrologer and creator of Forever Conscious. We talked about our journey to becoming professional readers, how the library started our love for fortune telling, and how astrology and fortune telling can support you during these difficult times. Check out our interview to know more about Tanaaz and me to here.

This week also marks our astrological new year and the time when day and night are in perfect balance. We also have a new moon in Pisces on March 18th, which clears the energy and opens the way for the next cycle. The cards guide us through this magical time in the universe and offer their wisdom on how to move forward.

The Two of Swords is about taking time to pause. The card shows two swords crossed over a calm sea and everything is quiet for a moment. We can tap into this energy this week by grounding ourselves.

Take a moment to connect with your physical presence through a body scan. Sit or lie down comfortably and move through each part of the body, imagining a warm light comforting each area. This workout is for your body, but it also does wonders for calming your mind.

With this new energy, insights will become clear about how to solve the problems we may face. We will now see how to overcome the turmoil in our heads. Whether it’s at work, in relationships, or with ourselves, we’ll see the light this week.

If you are honest about your feelings, you can deal with them more effectively. It may be a more difficult task at first, but doing everything will bring you peace in the end.

Our next card this week is the Moon. The card features the face of the moon, ocean waves and two howling dogs. It connects us to the natural rhythms of the earth. We are called to get into the cycles and rhythms of our lives and go with the flow.

When we resist natural ups and downs, we feel tired and out of sync. However, when we recognize that everything has peaks and valleys, we become more grounded and calm.

We know that after winter always comes spring. And all new moons lead to full moons and back again. Our lives are the same. There are more times and less times. The more comfortable we are with the cyclical nature of life, the more we can find the good in every moment.

The Moon card shows the journey to the center of ourselves. When we travel within, we find not flaws or weaknesses, but a solid core that is stable through all stages of life.

When we connect with ourselves through the guidance of the Moon, we discover our spiritual and intuitive abilities. Important parts of ourselves are revealed when we reveal what is inside us.

Mantra for the week: I offer peace to my mind and soul and embrace the natural cycles of life.
