In episode 364, astrologer Kathryn Urban joins the show to talk about the advanced moon cycle in astrology and how to use this timing technique to determine the seasons and phases of your life.
We start the episode with the concept of the moon cycle, how to identify the 8 phases of this cycle, and what moon phase you were born in.
Then we talk about how each person experiences different phases of the lunar cycle in the context of secondary development at different points in their lives.
Everyone experiences a secondary new moon at some point in their lives, and it marks the beginning of a new 28-year cycle, divided into eight parts based on the phases of the moon.
During the episode, we look at several different example charts and discuss what happens in people’s lives during the developing New Moon and then the ways in which it culminates about 14 years later in the secondary phase of the Full Moon.
The end result was a great introduction to one of the most interesting and useful timing techniques in modern astrology.
