Episode 389 features an interview with respected astrologer Robert Hand, who responds to Deborah Holding’s recent claims about the history of house division, including some mischaracterizations of her personally, and sets the record straight about the recent history of the revival of ancient astrology.
Rob was one of the three main founders of Project Hindsight, a project to translate ancient astrological texts in the 1990s.
In the interview, we discuss the concrete evidence for the existence of entire zodiacal houses in ancient astrology, and Rob gives his first-hand account of the revival of Hellenistic astrology, including some stories about his time at Project Hindsight.
Along the way, Rob will share some of his perspective and experience from his 63-year career as an astrologer, and we’ll hear an oral history about his life and work, as well as the recent revival and revival of ancient astrology.
