The sun Taurus at 11° | Moon Scorpio at 11 °
The Full Moon today brings us the Sun in Taurus and the Moon in Scorpio. Although they are both yin signs, they are known for being more receptive and sensitive to energy (rather than initiating it) – seven of the ten major planetary bodies are currently in Yang fire and air signs: Aries, Gemini and Aquarius.
If you follow astrological news, you may be aware that Uranus has officially moved into Gemini, where it will remain until 2033. Although there are many interpretations of this placement, one characteristic we can see on a collective level is a sense of increased speed.
This acceleration can be manifested through innovation, events, communication or rapid information sharing. Some simple examples include the speed at which artificial intelligence is integrated into the market, or even the speed at which we are expected to respond to a text message.
All of this is a reflection of the collective energy of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto moving through the dynamic yang signs. These three planets will also be in orb for the rest of 2026 to form a “talent trine” (Neptune sextile Pluto and Uranus; and Uranus trine Pluto).
If you want to learn more about the symbolism of Uranus entering Gemini, you can check out this webinar by Mark Jones, Uranus in Gemini: Language and Innovation in an Age of Anxiety.

Digestion and integration
Although individual circumstances vary greatly, there is common ground in the community things seem overwhelming. Mark Jones’s assertion that this period is an “anxiety period” seems especially true.
Even if you have personal practices that help you stay grounded, there seems to be a growing awareness of the importance of mental health, especially as it relates to the use of technology.
One of the themes I return to often when looking at the poles of Taurus and Scorpio digestion and integration. Change is the basic principle of life; energy is always moving and changing in one way or another.
Taurus is especially known for their ability to maintain and maintain a stable foundation once it has been established. However, one of his difficulties may be holding on too tightly or resisting the necessary changes.
Scorpio, while a fixed sign and not always comfortable with change, often has a deeper appreciation for the regenerative power that allows energy to move, release, and transform.
In the context of this “period of anxiety,” this full moon can encourage us to slow down, digest, and integrate, rather than constantly jumping from one thing to another.

Full Moon Exercise
Take some time today to pause, even if it’s just 10 minutes.
Find a quiet place and allow your body to relax. You can do this by focusing on different parts of your body and noticing any areas of tension. When you find tension, take a deep breath and relax as you exhale.
Once you feel stronger, take this moment as a place for digestion and integration. It doesn’t have to be what you’ve processed—it can be your experience in the present.
If there is something more important that you are ready to process, you can gently bring it to your attention. Allow yourself to breathe deeply, reduce anxiety, and offer a sense of comfort to your system with emotionally charged experiences.

Fate and free will
When life seems to be rushing by, you may feel like you have little say in what’s going on. Sometimes you can clearly sense moments of choice and empowerment; other times, things seem to go the same way regardless of your input.
The question of fate and free will has been discussed by astrologers for centuries.
Astrology University faculty recently delved into this topic, including a panel discussion with Demetra George, Stephen Forrest, and Brian Clark.
