On Friday night, the Sun-ruled Leo Moon trines Aries Mercury and the Taurus Sun squares Pluto in Aquarius. The mood is social, fiery and prone to active processing – internal or external. Perspective is key. It can be as fun as you make it.
Marcus Aurelius comes to mind:
“Look within. There is a fountain of goodness within, and if you dig, it will always bubble up.”
“You have power over your mind – not external events. Realize this and you will be empowered.”
“It takes very little to make a happy life; it’s all in the way you think.”
“Because it’s up to you to quit whenever you want.”
Mood provides the playing field and we need to focus our attention and our path on healthy realistic walks rather than careless distractions. Move your body; the body has intelligence.
Mercury in Aries and Mars square Jupiter in Cancer all weekend. Venus in Gemini (ruled by Mercury) sextiles Neptune in Aries. Keep an open mind, but don’t be so open that you lose touch with reality and your brain shuts down. We want to believe, and that’s a tempting risk at times. Right now, some temptations may become reality, but it is difficult to determine which ones. So proceed at a pace that helps you understand what’s what.
On Saturday night, the Leo Moon trines Aries Chiron, then squares Uranus and Venus in Gemini to Virgo. The Moon and Uranus change sign at about the same time, so this shake-up is significant. A gentle, intense mood carries the confidence of experience, but we are suddenly out of our element. Something feels wrong. Now that doesn’t mean it’s off; it just means paying attention. Maybe it’s good for you, but not good for humanity. Maybe it works for humanity, but you’re deluding yourself that it works for you. Or sometimes we just get the ick and who knows why. The answer here is to move your body and change your attitude.
On Sunday morning, the Virgo Moon trines the Taurus Sun, then crosses the South Node. Getting back on track doesn’t mean getting back on track. Getting back to what’s familiar is a great way to figure out how to allocate your resources in a way that supports your dreams and efforts moving forward. If we only wanted one thing, everything would be simple. As the Moon vainly orbits Mars in Aries, the mood responds to our efforts to balance things that are not yet balanced on their own. This is also good information.
Venus-Neptune creates dream and ideal desire. Opportunity is lost without action. Taking a chance is a good bet and you may have more than one chance. But if you find the action has descended into desperation or manic pursuit, cool your jets. Destiny and stupidity sit side by side.
A lot is happening, but not much progress is being made. Adjust your perspective accordingly. Do you have weekend plans?
