The rulers of the houses are an ancient and important element in determining the birth chart, but it is often neglected in modern times.
This is more of an intermediate technique as it involves integrating various key concepts around the four systems of planets, signs, aspects and houses.
Understanding the rulers of the houses is essential to chart synthesis, as it is through this technique that you begin to see how key concepts work together, as well as how the various parts of the chart are connected.
In the first part of this episode, we will discuss how to interpret what it means when the ruler of one house is in another, for example, when the ruler of the 4th house is in the 9th house, and later we will talk about how to determine the time of activation of the lords of the houses using the time-lord technique of yearly prophecies.
