Bad Bunny, Puerto Rico and Saturn-Neptune conjunction

In episode 523, astrologer Ashley Otero joins me to focus on the astrological significance of Bad Bunny’s recent Super Bowl performance and its deep connection to Puerto Rican history, particularly the Saturn-Neptune conjunction.

We show how the play coincides with a series of powerful Saturn-Neptune conjunctions that coincided with important moments in the island’s past, including the acquisition of US citizenship in 1917, the ratification of the Constitution in 1952, and the official request for self-determination in 1989.

Through this lens, we analyze the archetype of the Saturn-Neptune cycle, which represents boundaries and systemic uncertainty, to understand Puerto Rico’s complex political status and the cultural revival that is central to it today.

This eventually leads to the discovery of how the Saturn-Neptune conjunction signature applies to the wider Spanish-speaking world of the Americas as a whole.

This is part of an ongoing series where I look at how the Saturn-Neptune conjunction manifests itself in remarkable and surprising ways through current events in the news, and when we look back at history, we can better understand the archetype of planetary alignments.
